Site Access and Security

Only authorized personnel are allowed on site.

Sign in and out at the site office.

Follow designated entry/exit points and pathways.

Tool and Equipment Safety

Only trained personnel may operate machinery or tools.

Inspect all tools and equipment before use.

Turn off and secure equipment when not in use.

Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)

Hard hats must be worn at all times.

Safety boots with steel toes are required.

High-visibility vests or clothing must be worn.

Gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection must be used when appropriate.

Working at Heights

Use fall protection (e.g., harnesses, guardrails) when working above 2 meters (or site-specific height).

Ladders and scaffolds must be properly secured and inspected regularly.

Housekeeping

Keep work areas clean and free from debris.

Dispose of waste in designated containers.

Avoid leaving tools or materials in walkways.

Know the location of first aid kits, fire extinguishers, and emergency exits.

Understand the site’s evacuation plan and assembly point.

Report all accidents and near misses immediately, no matter how minor.

Emergency Procedures

Lifting and Manual Handling

Use mechanical aids whenever possible.

Use proper lifting techniques: bend knees, keep back straight.

Do not lift more than you can handle safely.

Electrical Safety

Keep electrical cords and tools away from water.

Use Ground Fault Circuit Interrupters (GFCIs) when required.

Only qualified electricians may do electrical work.
